“Magnificent views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

We did this early in the morning, very little traffic. Lots of opportunity to stop and get good pictures. Breezed through the tunnel, no wait. The views here are magnificent. We did this with the rental car and had no trouble with the climb.

“This is the way to see Zion. Spectacular views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

I can't add a whole lot to the other reviews of this magnificent drive through the National Park.

Unless you are hiking, I would skip the bus ride up the canyon and just take longer to enjoy the Mt. Carmel Highway. The day we were there it was not that crowded and we did not even have to wait at the tunnel. The Visitor's Center, however, was very crowded and the ride up the canyon in the bus was not particularly rewarding.

Hint: If you are headed to Cedar City, take the Kolob Canyon Rd. at the north end of Zion for another nice scenic drive.

“Fun drive through the park”

This was a beautiful drive - the first time we drove it was after dark and we thought we were lost so that was pretty frightening, but the next day we went back and enjoyed the sights thoroughly.

“Don't miss the Tunnel, one of the most impressive enigineering feats of the late 1920's.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

We saw a lot of the park but this impressed us as much as the natural wonders. The switchbacks getting to tunnel and the tunnel itself are well worth the time. If you include it in the overall Zion experience, the $25 is not bad. Also, check if you qualify for the lifetime $10 senior pass (age 62) or get an annual pass, both good at all National Parks and historic sites.

“Amazing and breathtaking!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

We didn't know much about this park before visiting - we included it in our trip as we drove back to !as Vegas after visiting Bryce Canyon. We were in for a real treat! The scenery is absolutely stunning and so different from Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. This is the drive not the park and the scenery is very dramatic and impressive
