I wasn't overly impressed with the Emerald Pools. We only hiked to the lower and middle ones. They weren't that impressive, so we didn't continue on to the upper. It's a very easy trail. Not too steep. But the pools were small and looked kinda swampy. Compared to the other beautiful hikes we took around Zion Canyon, I wouldn't recommend doing this one.

The Emerald Pools trail is a relatively easy little hike up to some gorgeous pools. Continue up to the upper emerald pool which is the most beautiful.

First part of the trail is very easy - other two a little more tricky but still doable for most people of average fitness. Great views.

Lower pools are easily accesible. We went in the fall and there was not an impressive amount of water flowing, but I'm sure would be fantastic in the Spring. We went to the middle and upper pools, as well, which is a little more strenuous, but worth the hike.
