Owner description: Angel's Landing is one of Zion's most spectular scenic outlooks; it can be reached only by a very demanding hike on the West Rim Trail.

For two hours hike - the rewards don't get any better. Inspiring and it's name says it all. One of the best hikes in the Park

The first two miles is a nice ascending hike part of witch is through a nice canyon. Then there is Walter's Wiggles switch backs. At this point you think you've made it but, oh no... this is where the fun begins. Part of me cannot believe they actually let people do this. According to the Nat'l Parks Service website five people have fallen off of Angel's Landing. That's not very many since the parks creation. I loved it. My wife did not as she doesn't love hikes. I highly encourage the experience of this hike preferably not in the heat of the summer.

The hike is very strenuous. The last 1/2 mile is extremely steep and zigzags back and forth to lessen the incline. A chain is provided to help you along. But the view.....incredible

The hike up is challenging at times, but a lot of fun. Beware though, the last section up to the top of Angels Landing is treacherous. You should be a good, lithe, experienced hiker, with ropes. People sadly have lost their lives here.

We did not take that last climb, but instead continued on another trail for awhile, and watched some intrepid folks from a distance. A great overall hike, and I'd take others to it again. Next time we might do the all day hike that the continuing trail takes you on.

This was the highlight of our trip.

It was snowy and icy! BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT! I was shocked to see so many hiking Angels with their tennis shoes on! NO! Dangerous! We had spikes and everything!

Take your time, stop and enjoy what you are doing and seeing. The experience is breathtaking!
