“Take the Shuttle”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

The shuttle is a great way to get around the park for sightseeing, hiking or just a park tour. The pickup/dropoff points are many and runs are frequent.

“Great idea for a national park”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

This was the first national park we have visited that offered a shuttle around the park instead of driving. It was lovely to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery without having to worry whether you were going in the right direction. It is also nice that you can walk around the park without any traffic.

“Friendly and knowledgeable”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is our first trip to Zion National Park. I was expecting a crowded bus that didn't run very often. Boy, was I wrong! The driver greeted everyone with a friendly hello and was very upbeat. Although the bus was full, everyone had a seat. The ride included an informational recording that tells the riders about the park and the attractions at each stop. We took the shuttle to the final stop (Temple of Sinawava) and walked the River Walk trail to the beginning of the Narrows (which requires a permit to hike).

I am so glad Zion provides the shuttle free of charge, because I probably would not have drove so far on my own.

The shuttles run frequently, so, if you should miss one, don't worry, continue to take in the beautiful scenery and the next shuttle will be there before you know it!

“Shuttle was a great experience!”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Parked at the visitor center and hopped on the shuttle, rode to the end and got off, then got on and off as we pleased. We were confused first as where to park, but go right to the visitor center and park there. Hardly ever waited at any stop, easy access and overall a great experience. Park is beautiful!

“Thank God for the shuttle!!”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Zion is so expansive you have to take the shuttle to see a good deal of it. While on the shuttle, a recording points out the different sites and a little about them while you are able to sit back and enjoy it all. There are several stops and you can get down to look around as much as you want. Shuttles come around every 15 minutes so you can go on to the next view when you are ready. Unfortunately we were in a big hurry so we took the shuttle round trip without getting down. It only took about 45 minutes. We wish we had more time and had been able to explore.
