Owner description: The mandatory shuttle leaves from the visitors center and travels six miles through the most popular canyon road, with seven stops in between.

Service is frequent with informative narrative. If you see photos of the park traffic before the shuttle, you realize this was the right thing to do.

Shuttles run on a regular basis from the Visitor's Center over to and up the main canyon. They can be crowded at times, but the buses do run in tandem. There's a nice narrative about each of the stops. But don't be surprised to see virtually everyone on the shuttle wearing and carrying hiking gear!

The shuttle is the only way to get around the park unless you are staying at one of the lodges in the park. Because of the large number of people who visit the park, they had traffic jams and started the shuttle service. The drivers are nice and the shuttles run often? We were only here for several hours and we were able to see all of the main stops the ranger recommended. It certainly gave us a break from all the driving my husband had to do.

The only way to travel in the park, they run very early to very late. They run like clockwork, no real wait. They stop at every location in the park marked on the map on the main road. The shuttles were clean, drivers were friendly and the tour narration is very good. We stayed in the park and it was nice to leave our vehicle in the parking lot for two days, no worries.

The shuttle provided a great opportunity to explore. It is free after entering the park. It stopped at every spot that one would want. Great service provided.
