Our first time to Shenandoah and our first hike. My husband and I are walkers that average 2+ miles a day and we thought we were in for a nice short easy hike according to the reviews we read. It was a little tougher than we imagined but a good one to get our feet wet with (definately wear shoes/boots with good treads because the trail was wet and slippery in some places, and once you reached the top, good traction is needed on the rocks.). It was definately doable and easier than other hikes we took the other two days we were there. Out of all the hikes we did the three days we were there, this is our favorite. The view was breathtaking.
