My step son and I went up for the solitude, natural beauty and quiet. We found all three and had some fantastic meals as well. Creekside Cabin was great. In these rustic cabins without electricity you can talk up the old business of talking to one another rather than typing. It was refreshing !
The beauty of the area speaks for itself. We found ourselves constantly looking at one another and realizing that words would not do justice to what we were seeing. So we just said nothing.
The staff were very friendly and engaging. I enjoyed to slow pace of things.
I would recommend Silver City to anyone looking for a REAL getaway.
