I strongly recommend to reserve a night or two at this very nice hotel so you can enjoy both Parks (Sequoia and Kings Canyon) since the very early morning to the night. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, you have all the amenities and the service is great! They also promote an eco friendly environment so you’ll see signs to recycle, to buy a reusable bottle of water that you can refill at the lobby and to practice the 5 minute shower challenge. I am proud to say I did it in less than 5, so I saved even more liters. Now, I’ll do it at home too.
You can also book a tour departing from this hotel, I didn’t because it was full so if you want to do it, I suggest you book it
weeks in advance.
I booked a night with breakfast for two. Check rates if this is convenient for you because the complete breakfast buffet costs 13.95 plus tax per person so maybe it’s cheaper if you pay it there.
The WiFi is very poor and it only works at the lobby, but that was an extra gift, because I could detox myself from internet and enjoy the extremely beautiful park.
I’m planning to come back in a couple of years in June or July so I can enjoy the closed attractions and I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again!

We loved this hotel, set in the amazing Sequoia NP, this is the best place to stay in you're planning to visit.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the food at breakfast and dinner was good and fairly priced. They will make you a packed-lunch if you need it.
The rooms are fair sized and clean, we loved the shower timer... a great idea and this should be installed in more hotels across California! Don't waste water!!

Room tip: Read the instructions on their website, go check in before you unload your car

Thank you for staying with us and appreciating our low flow shower and timers. We are trying to do our part for the environment as we head for a goal of 0 waste by 2023.

Stayed in Wuksachi Lodge for one night on the 25th of April. The location of the lodge is really nice. However when the charge for the basic room is at $255 much more than a nice location is expected. We stayed at a room with two twin beds. The bathtub was dirty and the sheets of one of the beds were dirty as well with hair and mud on them. We informed the front desk and someone came over to change them. The member of the hotel that came over took out the dirty sheets and left them on a chair over some of our clothes that were laying there. Once he finished making the bed he took the old sheets together with our t-shirts and threw them on the floor in order to take them. The excuse was that he thought the t-shirts were pillowcases. The only reason for rating the hotel as average and not worse is the location and only.

Dear Guest..

Thank you for staying with us... But I deeply apologize for the condition of your room. This is appalling and there is no excuse for it. I have passed this on to our Sr. GM for his review and determination of who was assigned to clean your room and who inspected it. I hope that you arrived to your next destination safely and that you were better received there.

Our family has traveled to other lodges within National Parks (Grand Canyon & Zion) and have appreciated the close proximity to the sites. We expect a decent room which the Wusaki Deluxe room was with its updated decor and clean appearance. The path to the sleeping area is dark and could use more path lighting and signage.
We also have the expectation of decent food served efficiently which the Wusaki grossly needs to work on. For example, it’s necessary to have a reservation for dinner and even with one, expect to wait. This made for many cranky families waiting in the lobby. Luckily breakfast was better since it’s a buffet. The next dinner had a lot of things on the menu that they were out of but service was slightly more efficient but we had to keep asking for water refills. There aren’t many places to eat without a long drive out of the park so it’s a a shame that they could work out the kinks.

Location, location, location. A fantastic although somewhat pricey lodge situated near some of the World’s most amazing forests. Rooms are decent, but you want to be out exploring. The staff in the accommodation itself were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. There was a water problem when we stayed, meaning the restaurant was closed, but staff were helpful and made other arrangements. Sequoia is incredible.
