“Love the Saguraos”

We had a great visit to the Saguaro National Park. Just driving on the trails and seeing the majestic giant cactus was amazing. The visitors center is full of information and is very helpful. I recommend to all that have a chance to check it out.

“Another "must see" while in the Tucson area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2013

Even if you are a lazy traveler as we sometimes tend to be, just driving to the Park's Visitor Center will surely inspire you enough to get out of your vehicle to go inside for a quick overview.

This park, of course, is all about the saguaro cactus and you are surrounded by them at their finest.

Next, it doesn't take too much effort -even if you have to wait a few minutes- to see the film. I will venture to say that you might even be motivated by this experience to drive around the park a little more and actually get out of the car again and take a quick walk among these majestic giants.

“Great to get outdoors for a hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

Another beautiful day. Went for a hike and was invigorated by the surroundings. Take plenty of water with you and a camera. Sunscreen needed on most trails. If you can stay quiet and take in the natural area you might catch a glimpse of some of the creatures that inhabit the park. Have fun. By the way, wear good shoes!

“Entertaining and interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

Saguaro NP has two sections, East and West. I drove through the west one. You are actually entering a different world. It is also very different from the rest of the flat Southern Arizona. It is a landscape of not just stinging cactuses but at certain time of the year the saying the "the blooming desert is very true" . Apart from the many flowers you can see you also have a chance to see much of the wildlife so now we come to "the living desert" with an abundance of different lifeforms from snakes on the ground to¨beautiful birds that live of the different cactuses. If you are lucky and are quick enough you will also see road runners. On the whole it is a stunning landscape, not barren but full of Life. I would call it a must to see.

“Saguaro National Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

A beautiful, and very interesting natural site. A "must see" when traveling the central to southern Arizona area. Educational, giving examples of many sorts of desert flora and fauna and yet extremely beautiful and very enjoyable to explore. Would advise anyone of any age to experience this wonderful park.
