“Great family hike”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

Took our 8 and 11 year old kids on this hike and had a blast. The trail is well maintained and although there we saw other folks, it was not crowded and we had much time and space to ourselves to enjoy the beauty. Hike up past the waterfall a ways to see beautiful, quiet, clear watered creek and a gorgeous meadow with an area suitable for fishing. Easy and interesting enough for the kids while still providing a good workout.

“Great short hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

A nice short hike to a pleasant views of the falls...although you could hike further it was just enough for these "older" folks to enjoy on an afternoon to make up for the ice cream cone later on in town.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

Short walk to beautiful falls! Very picturesque and beautiful to enjoy. Once you've hiked to the falls you can continue hiking to other areas or loop back around and head back down the east trailhead to the parking lot. I think it's only .3 miles to the falls, so it's an easy walk to most!

“Nice falls, wildlife and fly fishing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

The trail is a nice, easy hike to nice falls. There was a deer laying right next to the trail, not at all afraid of all the people stopping and pointing.

My son took his fly rod to fish in the meadow upstream from the falls. It was a perfect spot! The views were magnificent and while there 2 moose came into the meadow to graze. It was amazing!
