My husband and I ate here twice: dinner late on the evening of arrival, and the next morning for breakfast. For dinner we both were sold on the Cedar Plank Salmon (very fresh and cooked perfectly), and for breakfast we had omelettes (very generous portions, tasty ingredients). For both meals our server was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions, but service was a bit slow, especially since the dining room was not very full either time. We were on vacation, so we just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed the great view of Crescent Lake from the dining room.

The lodge has a nice varied menu with outstanding seafood entrees. The salmon is always a great choice. Servers are so pleasant and their manager, Todd, is well respected by staff and that's always a good sign.

We had the pleasure of enjoying the Lake Crescent Lodge dining room food for several days during our recent visit. Each meal was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were always well done; especially enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal, omelets, and the buttermilk griddle cakes. For dinner, the Roasted Cedar Planked Wild Salmon was my husband's favorite, while the Draper Valley Chicken Breast with sweet potato mash was so good I ordered it twice. We had wonderful days at Lake Crescent, breakfast at the lodge, hiking all morning, lunch at the lodge, hiking all afternoon, and then lovely evenings at the lodge with drinks on the porch and a delicious dinner to end the day. Heavenly!

I expected the Lodge restaurant to be somewhat overpriced, and it was. But it was also surprisingly good food, and our server Tammy was delightful. The atmosphere was strange - sort of a country diner feel, which didn't match what the restaurant was going for at all. But the food was good - not exceptional, but good, and it was, overall, a pleasant experience.

Enjoyed steamed mussels that were only hours old and a fantastic berry crisp. The chef puts a lot of effort into the menu to make sure this is not a cookie cutter experience within the Park system.
