“An Olympic NP Must See”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

For Olympic NP attractions, I rank Sol Duc Falls right behind Hurricane Ridge and Ruby Beach. It really is a must see, and I find it baffling that it is currently (as of 12/2012) ranked so low at 9 of 31 attractions in Olympic NP. It is a large, beautiful waterfall that photographers will especially like. I took a number of pictures of this waterfall with a relatively slow shutter speed and they ended up being some of my best pictures out of my entire Washington/Oregon vacation.

It's an easy, short hike to the waterfall so you don't have any excuses. Don't miss it!

“Inspiring”

Loved the forest and the falls. A moderate hike through moss covered trees leading to majestic falls. The trail is well maintained. Be sure and pack a rain jacket.

“Beautiful falls!”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Great, easy hike...gorgeous falls! This is worth the long drive in from 101....the falls are stunning and unique. There are lots of people on the trail which is kind of annoying but not as many as at HOH.
