“Another Exquisite Rain Forest in the Olympics”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

this is another spectacular lake surrounded by rain forest and beautiful big trees...loads of hikes and lake kayaking...a nice road that loops around the whole area...it is a must see in this wonderful Olympic Park...the gem of the Northwest...the North side of the lake where I stayed tends to be very quiet and out of the crowded areas...wonderful walks on both sides of the lake...

“Nice short hike”

Not in the same level of awesomeness as the hon, but still a nice precursor. Lake quinalt lodge is a good option, very peaceful, fantastic restaurant for breakfast.

“Unique”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2012

Fantastic trails, moss hanging from everything, hard to decide what to take pictures of. I saw an Elk. We got wet-it is a rain forest after all-lol. Wear waterproof clothing and comfortable waterproof boots and take lots of pictures.

“Drive aroound the Lake”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2012

Plenty of hiking opportunities that each offer their own challenges and viewing opportunities. Try driving around the Lake as well. Amazing Rain Forest scenery - moss-covered trees, fern covered "meadows", Elk, Bald Eagles, etc.
