We drove around the lake on 101 heading for the sol duc falls, so we saw a lot of water. there are many pull outs to stop and enjoy the view. One kayak and a small fishing boat on Father's Day with a calm lake available. We stopped at each viewpoint and marveled at how clear the water was and how deep you could see bottom. The trees around the lake are beautiful as well, At the Ranger Station people were enjoying the water and having picnics or hiking to the falls. It was a beautiful day and the lake is long and deep. Reminds me a lot of some of the lakes in Alaska and the Yukon with the blue/aqua water.
