“Great Wild Beach”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

We live two hours from Rialto Beach. NO SWIMMING! This is a WILD beach. One storm dropped three feet of rocks and covered the parking lot. Walk along the beach and walk through Hole in the Wall at low tide and go to the little island and explore.. Lots of tide pools on the other side. Close your eyes and enjoy the sound of the beach pebbles as the waves roll them up and down the beach. Delightful. On a stormy day ALWAYS keep your eyes on the water. Sneaker waves seem to come from no where and can grab you right off the beach. You'll never be seen again. That said... This is our favorite beach for extreme storm watching in the Winter. We have travelled the world and this is the place to have an interactive experience with a real storm.
Calm and lovely place to hike in Spring and Summer.
Stay safe and have a wonderful time at Rialto

“Nice Place”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

This beach has lots of driftwoods. It's just fun and relaxing walking along the beach and sitting on the driftwoods.

“good picnic spot”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We didn't like this quite as well as Ruby beach - the stacks weren't as impressive. However, we had a pcinic here and it was a very nice place to picnic. It rained off and on, but we chose a spot back in the trees and stayed dry. Very few tables and none on the beach.

“Stop 2 on our marathon day at Olympic National Park”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

On our way back to Port Angeles from the Hoh Rain Forest, we detoured to Rialto Beach. It is only 10 - 12 miles off of Route 101. The beach is spectacular, with giant bleached out driftwood on shore and steep islands offshore. The walking can be kind of rough, as a lot of the beach consists of marble to egg-size stones. It is definitely worth a side trip from the main road.

“Don't miss it!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

We all loved Rialto Beach. Great views of the coast/photo opportunities. The kids loved scrambling around on all the huge driftwood. It's out of the way, but worth it.
