Plenty of parking and a few different beautiful hikes and trails. The trees are amazing. Don't miss

What an incredible place! You feel like you're in another world....so much green. The only rain forest in the United States. We have gone twice and can't wait to go back! If you live within 5 hours then you absolutely have to go there!

The Hoh Rain Forest is beautiful, but get there early before the traffic and parking get bad. We took the Mossy Trail. I'm used to walking among the Redwoods, so at first the trail was nothing special, but then we entered the mossy section. The trees, especially the roots and branches laden with moss, became almost other worldly. Definitely worth the short hike of about 1 mile

Be sure if you are traveling to several national parks on your trip you purchase the $80 pass to get you in to all of the national parks for a year. It will save you tons of money. (Note this pass is for national parks only and not state parks so be aware) The drive in to the park to the HOH rainforest is about a 30 minute drive and there is only one little place to stop so be sure you have fuel and don't need to tinkle. Once to the HOH rainforest there is a great visitor center and bathrooms. Parking was not an issue either.

There are longer trails and shorter trails at the HOH rainforest. I am not in great shape and I was miserably sore from a hike to Third Beach in La Push the day before....so I only walked the short trail around the visitors center. Even on the short trail (which is handicap accessible) there are still great things to see. It was gorgeous and I only wish I could have seen more on a longer trail. It was cool and rainy we were there, imagine that!

On our way from Bay City, OR to Victoria Canada we took a slight detour to Hoh Rainforest and we're so glad we stopped. It is absolutely beautiful and there are short hikes as well as long hikes. Since we were only stopping through we took the short 1.2 mile hike. Well worth the extra time. We loved it.
