“Beautiful - a photogs delight”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

We drove through here in early June and saw snow drifts still in some areas. The cascades range from trickles to deluge and are all sparkling clean. There can be and were cloudy areas and the road can be a little tricky even when it's just a little damp.

Well worth the trip and my pics are spectacular!

“North cascade highway”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

This is highway 20 through the mountains. The main part is 76 miles with lots of places to stop for pics. It's a very nice drive. It was cloudy when I went, but still very pretty scenery. Also, be sure you fill your gas tank before, I almost ran out of gas. No gas station for the entire 76 miles.

“Natural and man made spendor at it's finest!!”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

Yesterday a friend and I took a drive through a highway which is closed most of the year in Washigtonn state; The North Cascades Highway. We drove from Marble Mount first stopping at the Gorge powerplant to see the beautiful gardens and HUGE waterfall! We then continued our drive (jaw dropping scenic beauty at every turn in the road!) to see Diablo Dam and Lake, then Ross Dam and lake. We hiked one mile down and back to see the Ross Resort. This drive was one of the most beautiful I have been on in this state!!

“Beautiful”

This is a wonderful drive!! You can look for Big Foot marks or just the Bambi's on the side of the road. Make sure your not a car sick type because it loops around. But the beautiful waterfalls can make up for it!
