Best scenic drive in the area. Amazing valleys, huge banks of snow, wildlife, and stunning mountain views.

“Really crowded”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Paradise Visitor's Center was crowded and we did the Loop to park. The scenery in the whole park is great, but this center was too busy for me. Then snow covered what may later be great viewing wildflower meadows, but not at this time. Liked Sunrise Visitor Center better- smaller and more rustic, but good exhibits and information. A passenger can see sights from the Loop, but the driver has to watch the twisty road, people, buses, etc. Simply too early in season for best viewing of area.

“Perfect round the mountain trip”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Great to take all your out of town friends on the trip. Leaving Enumclaw on hiway 410 going east you pass some beautiful sceneray. When you get to Paradise its fantastic the lodge has been remodeld lots of snow. Then on the way down thru Ashford and Elbee make sure you stop At the Elbee Bar. Beams is the cook and he serves his food like he likes it and hes over 300 pounds, nice atmosphere and you can watch the Elbee Steam train go by 3 times a day. Then off to Eatonville the IGA is a must stop for us, What great deals. Take the bake road by Ohop lake and you come out at Kapowsin Tavern. Another great pit stop good food and wild women. If you go straight thru the stop sign youll end up in Orting. Then to Sumner. This trip is an all dayer 6 hours. Tell em Doug and Cathy sent you every where. If your in Puerto Vallarta from Dec to April we will be there.
