We had reservations for Dog Creek Campground, but the ferry is closed due to drought and would have taken another 30 minutes to get to, so we decided to stay here, closer to the Cave. The bathrooms had A/C and were clean, but you have to go to the camp store for a shower. Biggest problem, though...there were yellow jackets everywhere. I have never seen so many in my life. I thought we'd parked on a nest, but they are all throughout the campground. We only stayed one night and were happy to pack up and leave earlier than planned. My grandson was stung while packing up. They covered our truck, got stuck in
Our hair, came into the camper, harrassed the dog, even. It was terrible. Took us several minutes to get them all out of the truck so we could leave. It would have been a nice place to be without all those bees.
