It may have been our fault, but we were expecting some firey molten lava. Instead looking at the volcano is more like looking into a brown crater with steam issuing out of it--not so awe inspiring. We also went to see the petroglyphs--a longish walk with no shade. I can see how they are a spiritual experience for those who go there to connect with their ancestors or bury their children's umbilical cords, but for the casual tourist, this is more like looking at circles incised into rocks. And the lava tube is interesting because of how it was formed, but it really looks like your average cave.
