“rude people at falls ruined the experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2012

nice falls, short easy walk, pretty busy with people. One family monopolized the falls with their private photo shoot on a Sunday afternoon. kept on taking photos, seemed to go on forever while the crowd of people waiting grew bigger. they were not even fazed by the people patiently waiting. when the finally finished people started to walk closer and they said wait we have another family with us. wow. that was the last straw, this is a public place, went up anyway got a quick photo and left. still unbelievable.

“Easy waterfall to get to for people with limited walking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

You can hike from nature center or you can park behind park HQ. Then walk over creek and down path 0.1 miles to falls. Bench to sit on. It was nice.

“Might as well take a look!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

The first visitor center traveling from Gatlinburg is the sugarlands. Less than a mile round trip from the visitor center and an easy hike. It's a pretty walk to get to this nice but small waterfall with a beautiful stream to look at on the way. It's a short hike so take a look see.

“An easy hike with small waterfall at the end”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

This trail can be found behind the Sugarlands Visitor Center. This is a good introduction to the beauty that the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer and will take about an hour round trip. There are a few rock crossing areas, but nothing too difficult. However, there are a number of tree roots that would make it challenging with a stroller.

“Easy walk for children”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2012

A nice easy hike for families with young children, but nothing spectacular. Not necessarily stroller friendly, as there are a couple of places with stairs and places where you have to step on rocks to cross the stream.
