If you want your family to enjoy some of the Smokies natural beauty but aren't into hiking, this is one place to go. I was with a children's field trip. They had a lot of fun walking on the trails. We crossed a creek where yellow and black butterflies swarmed all around us. At the end of the trail was a beautiful waterfall. We came back a different way and then ahd a picnic. When it was over my grandson wanted to go again. I am not much of a hiker, but I didn't mind this easy trail.
