“Lots have changed in only 6 yrs.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

We stopped in here for a break on our way to yellowstone. I was surprised to see how much this has changed from 2008 last time we were here. Most of the complex i dont even remember being here or maybe it was under construction. Any way The visitor center was nice Informative had a good film to see about the park. The gift shop was of good size had all the usual stuff.
The native american museum was small (interesting) just not much to see. I understand things were removed because of theft? Maybe they downsized it? in any case if indian stuff is what you are looking to see, try the museum in cody wy this one is the best you are ever likely to find.
The place also has a grill to eat, lodging, general store and gas station. Ok spot to rest but not worth a special trip. Most dissapointing was the low water level here , the whole bay was bone dry. Further driving you could see just how much the lake water had been drained. As of sept 2013.

“Worth a stop!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013

We enjoyed over an hour examining the Indian Arts Museum and Visitor Center. The staff were helpful in answering our questions, the films were a nice break and very informative: the displays were engaging and all in all our time was well spent there.

“Art Museum had moved”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

It was disappointing that most of the Indian Art had been moved due to the inability to protect it adequately, but overall it was a decent visitor center.

“A Great Facility”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

The remodeling of the building took place a couple of years ago. The gift shop has a nice location, and the museum is O.K. A Native American family create and sell their jewelry. The auditorium continual shows concerning the Tetons and Yellowstone.

“Worth a Stop!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

This is a lovely little visitor center. The rangers are very friendly and can spend time helping you plan your trip. The Native American Arts on display are wonderful, and there are movies regularly scheduled throughout the day focused on different subjects in the park. My daughter loved the gift shop: she found just what she wanted for her friends back home.
