Description: A dining experience not to be missed in Grand Teton National Park is the Jenny Lake Lodge. Dinner is our specialty. Serving a 5 course meal with a nightly rotating menu, this elegant yet rustic experience will impress even the most refined palate.

On August 24th, the dining room was still charming although much more congested than it was 25 years ago. A folk singer was playing in the lounge area in place of the classical group 25 years ago. The wait staff was dressed more casual in 2013. The food was more complex in 2013 and there was less of it, even though 5 courses. Our waiter was courteous, but disrespectful in that he casually referred to me as "hon" several times. My friend and I are both professional women who are very well educated. I think it would have been more appropriate to use "maam" or "ms". I think a restaurant of this caliber should train their wait staff better. Overall, very good experience, not excellent.

While dinner is known to be pricey here, we enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch with exceptional and friendly service. Reservations are a must. Pictures on the website gave us the impression we would have a view of the lake-- which is not the case, but the mountain views are spectacular. The wait staff are all young yet highly trained and polished. Our server was impressive in his knowledge of the wine and food, as well as his conversation. The chef kindly split our items as we shared 2 things; chicken/avocado/orange salad was a little plain but actually very well prepared; mushroom/cheeseburger was excellent. This appears to be a very well managed lodge in a great location.

We stopped in to make a reservation after a day of hiking. We were allowed to make a reservation after we confirmed that we understood and were prepared for the dress code.
Arrived early for cocktails wearing appropriate dress. Its kind of fun to play hard and then get dressed up for dinner.
Dinner was fantastic!!! Multi course and unexpectedly good fresh food. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the beautiful lodge and view.
The view from the door to the lodge takes your breath away every time you leave the building.

Truly a fun evening.

As a restaurant the Jenny Lake Lodge is very, very seriously over rated and over priced!

The food was fine, but nothing special. The staff was very nice, but a meal, all-in-all, was more enjoyable at the Mural Room at Jackson Lake Lodge. Given the price tag of $85 per, it was just not worth it! Wine & service extra.

It's been a few years since we had visited, and we were just as pleased as we always were. Plan cocktails in the sitting room prior to your dinner reservation. Some evenings there is live music by a guitarist. Be seated in an old elegant log cabin decor dining room. Enjoy the ever changing gourmet food choices. The wine menu is worth reading. Save room for a special desert. The service is special.
