food was average at best. services was average at best. husband ordered the spinach artichoke dip. it was so bad that it was not even pleasant sitting on the table. He asked the waitress if he could exchange it for some salsa. She was very nice about doing so but said 'it is pretty bad, isn't it? I hate serving it!'

This "second tier" dining facility in the El Tovar area lacks the grace and ambiance of the main dining room, but it offered the best ribs I have ever been served along with pleasant service.

Food was average for price. Service was very good. Mac & Cheese for the kids tasted like from a box and looked like the ones from the box too. My 3, 5, & 7 yo kids wouldn't eat it because it did not taste home made. Restaurant was nothing to write home about.

We were here for dinner a few says after Christmas, and the Grand Canyon park was fairly busy. The restaurant looks small and I expected a wait, but we were seated immediately right by the window. If it had been light outside we would have had a wonderful view. Our server was very attentive, and the food was excellent. Prices didn't seem excessive to me, especially for the quality of the food. If we returned to the Grand Canyon, I'd definitely stop for a meal at the Arizona room again.

We waited about 10 minutes for our table for two. We expected a longer wait and were pleased with the brief wait. The service was friendly and speedy. Complimentary chips and salsa. Our server refilled our salsa without our requesting it. The Ribs were tasty but the rest of the food was good but nothing exceptional.
