This is such a beautiful spot! The construction of both bridges is amazing and if you are there early in the morning look under the trusses of the bridge and you are most likely going to spot one of the California condors that rest there! This is a very clean facility with clean restrooms and very helpful naturalists on site. If you walk across the bridge you will be treated to some beautiful handwork by the Navajo artists that display their wares (they usually arrive around 9:00 am or so). Don't miss this spot!

Very interesting isolated place now hard to imagine what it was like before the bridge was built. Disappointed the interpretive was closed for lunch really wanted to learn more.

Stopped here on our way to Kanab to volunteer at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Great views of the Colorado River; even saw some raft drifting under the bridge. Hoped to see some Condors, but no luck this time (though we did see one in the distance at the Condor release area a bit further along on the road). Clean restrooms, interesting displays and a good gift shop are two other nice features of the Interpretive Center

Historic old bridge with dramatic views of the Colorado river. We saw 2 California condors perched on the bridge.
Clean bathrooms.

On our way to grand canyon north rim we came across this historic bridge. There are actualy two of them one for cars the other for pedestrians. Its an easy walk across to the one side. There is an interpretive center here as well as restrooms.
ITs good for a look at the river and a chance to see condors. nice photo op. plenty of parking just watch for tour bus. They tend to stop here alot.
