Breakfasts were great, dinners were varied. This is basically the best restaurant within the park, so they are feeding a lot of people every day. The four adults in our party ate two meals a day there for three days. Some dinners were really good, some were just ok. The pasta was always overcooked, the salads were always good. The fish was good, too.

First - I want to say that the service was top notch. All staff were very attentive, friendly, and eager to please without being overbearing.

Food was average. Honestly, I winced at the bill because I felt cheated. The dinners are just not at the level of the price. Food is heavy and 'resort feeling'. It's like going to the poconos mountains.....

Would skip it next time and save money for something else.

While at the Grand Canyon village we made sure to eat at El Tovar dining room. The atmosphere and employee service is of good quality, however the food was not up to the standard we were expecting out of a real fine dining restaurant.

I was so excited to eat here because I knew the views would be spectacular. But then I arrived.

The food is good -- but the windows are small and if you aren't lucky enough to be seated right by a window, then you won't see the Grand Canyon as you eat. The restaurant is SO dark it's kind of depressing. We went for breakfast and I really had a hard time waking up just because it felt like it was night. Overall, it's good food, but the darkness and inability to enjoy the view made it kind of a disappointment.
