We rented a 19ft RV and stayed at #124, a really large space with plenty of shade and space - we were far from others but close to the bathroom. This campground is well-maintained with plenty of trashcans and large recycling bins. It's a walk to the shuttle stop and general store, but we got use to it.

The general store area has laundry and showers. The showers were generally nice and relatively clean for a high use area ($2 for 8min). Laundry was also convenient and clean. The staff there were very accommodating and helpful.

Room Tip: Reserve early and look at the site maps and pictures - they were really helpful to choosing a good s...

Nice and well located campground in Grand Canyon NP. We stayed there for 2 nights - 6 people at one site. Large sites, however there is lack of showers available in campground, so if you are not located nearby first loop, you have to go quite far.

Stayed 3 nights in June it was hot during the day evenings were perfect we have stayed here aleast 6 times over the years. Nice and quiet saw mule deer near our site no elk this time. Only problem was chiggers ( early stage mites) I got bitten pretty good on ankles, red itchy bites. Hubby thought i was crazy nothing bite on him. Wecamped away from rest room the noise and lights. As other have said no soap or towels but they do have toilet paper and outlets! Showers are great 2 bucks for a long 8 minutes, no towels, soap etc, the showers are hot and have hair dryers. If your 62 and over be sure to get the senior pass for lifetime $10. gets you in the Federal parks for free($25 here) and half price camping...

Room Tip: Be sure to go online and book early (you get to pick your site) we always pick a site on the out sid...

This is the first time I did camping and first time visiting Grand canyon!
Great place to camp with Family, we did with 18months old, she enjoyed not troubled. Facilities are really good and maintained well. There is a Store near by, which has deli, all camping needs, gear for rent. Staff in the store\deli are very friendly. My husband went to deli just to warmup my daughter milk in microwave, they did it in a microwave (they open by 7AM). Restrooms, showers(reasonable price) are clean. We did camping during memorial day'13 weekend. Just booked 3 days before the trip, somebody cancelled I think, I got for a day and extended one more day. During check-out we asked again for any free slot, they said yes. Our last minute planned worked out well. Night it goes to 30F.
tripadvisor reviews helped me for proper planning of gear.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night and had a great time! The store was just a 3 minute drive away so we got wood and wine for a lovely campfire! It was refreshing and a treat to have flushing toilets and sinks after a lot of more primitive camping.

By the bathrooms there was a clearing in the trees so we could see some of the very bright stars. Beautiful!

Definitely a larger campsite so it has more of a family/keep to yourself atmosphere as opposed to making friends with surrounding campsites. Was great though!

Stayed 3 night at the end of May. Great location, great shuttle bus service, general store close by even though pricy. Clean bathroom facilities, wish they would provide soap dispensers in bathrooms though. Campsites are spacious. Prepare for cold nights. Showers close by, cost is 2 $ for 8 min shower. I had a great time and really enjoyed camping here.

We stayed 2 nights here and had a great time!! The campground is really close to the canyon and they have a free shuttle bus to take you everywhere. The campground was nice and clean. The bathhouse was clean and had hot water. You had to pay (i think it was like $2 for 8 minutes) but totally worth it. The ground is somewhat rocky and very dusty, but we would definitely stay again.
