A must do if you make it to the lodge. It is a wilderness so do monitor the youngest one so they stay on the trail.

Very beautiful place to watch the sunset. We ate ice cream we loved it. The cones were so crisp! The park ranger who spoke to us there gave us many ideas of where to go in the park for the best sunset, but she added that any place where you can sit and relax was great! I agree with her.

This was a nice short hike directly adjacent to the lodge. Although I am frightened of heights I was able to make it all the way to the point (could not stand right on the point). It was very windy the evening we did the trail, but this made the trail less crowded. It would be best to do this trail early or late in he summer to avoid the crowds. You can get great pictures of the various geological features (wontons throne) from the point. Well worth the walk.

This is easy to get to and it usually isn't as crowded as, say, Grandview Point. The shuttle bus stops almost directly in front of the spot and there are gift shops and a place to get some liquid refreshments right at hand. Avoid the hotel restaurants as they are overpriced for the meals served. The walk along the rim trail from here is very scenic.

Truly spectacular not much more to say. Will soften the hardest heart. Nice easy short trail.

Very remote but I think everyone should visit here once in their life!
