I'm not sure it's possible to give the Grand Canyon a bad review, it's just too amazing. We were there in February so it is quite cold and breezy but as long as you're wrapped up it doesn't bother you too much. Try to get there and see the sunset, it makes an incredible place even more amazing.

If you go on a public holiday (we happened to be there on President's Day) park entrance is free.

We drove almost 5 hrs. from Las Vegas to get to the South rim of the Grand Canyon and once you arrive, all that time spent driving is worth the view. Unbelievable view of the Grand Canyon as far as you can see & numerous tails to walk if you are into hiking, a lot of viewing platforms which are perfect for some wonderful shots.

This place does get crowded but everyone keeps moving along since there is so much to see, you need at least few hours to really walk around and check out different areas of the canyon.

Visitor centre is really informative and really explains how the Canyon was originally formed and how far they stretch etc. Wonderful read and pictures to view reg. the canyon.

Grand Canyon is truly one of the wonders of this world and needs to be visited once in a life time, I will certainty visit again since there is so much to see that you cannot possibly do it in one trip.

You don’t quite “get it” until you walk right up to the edge. We visited the South Rim, but the following advice should be taken from any side. Do not stay at the viewing points. People spend days exploring the canyon, and while you may be short of time like we were, the last thing you want is to take a bunch of pictures with the railing behind you. Walk along the Rim Trail. There are thousands of spectacular spots to watch the canyon in peace, and many outrageous spots to take some heart pounding pictures.

Definitely a bucket list item. Finally visited my dream location last december. Simply gorgeous and aweinspiring!

My advise is to go early. In the afternoon, huge shadows tend to cast upon a stretch of the scenery and making it bad for photography.

Indescribable experience and photographs would or could never do justice to its magnificence and utter uniqueness. Took a plane trip courtesy of Scenic Air Tours which included collection and return from hotel, return flight to South Rim and a coach trip to Grand Canyon National Park with an excellent tour guide with a number of stops at strategic viewing points. Utterly magnificent and worth every cent/dollar of the cost!!!!!!
