This is a very small restaurant and you may have to wait but it is worth it. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

The food was very overpriced and not very good. Salad was the best part. Vegetables were cooked many hours over what was required. Servers were friendly but not so competent.

We ordered a pizza from here one night, and ate breakfast here twice. The food was good and the servers friendly and responsive. Over priced, but consider it is open only a few months a year and this is high tourist season

Steak and Lobster were great for being Montana
Being from the city it was hard to find a place in East Glacier that had Different Steak and Seafood, but Alpenglow / Glacier Villager exceeded the expectations.

They also had Pizza Chicken Pork. Everything Homemade.

We had about 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch. Seated ourselves. Took about 5 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant to get a waitress. Friendly enough person. Ordered water and tea. It was hard to tell the difference between the water and the tea - the tea was only slightly darker than the water. The table next to us had regular looking tea. We were given 5 menus - 4 different versions. Ordered a pizza, burgers, BLT and soup. Again, about two other tables in the restaurant. After 40 minutes of waiting for our food, the waitress came by and said she was sorry, that the cook was very slow. When we finally got our food, about an hour after we ordered, the pizza was clearly a frozen pizza and was poorly heated - the crust separated. The burgers were the frozen type, not real burgers. The BLT was fine. When we asked for ketchup the waitress came back with two nearly empty bottles and told us to "see what we could get out of them...". We had to get up and find plates, silverware and napkins ourselves. When the table next to us left, the lady told me she hoped by soup was warm, that hers was not and she walked to a table she had line of sight to (near the register where the waitress was standing) and grabbed a full bottle of ketchup and brought it over to us. The waitress did give us a 15% discount...but it was too little too late. Horrible food, absolutely the worst service I have EVER had in my ENTIRE life. You would be better off grazing on grass on the side of the road.
