We went on a boat ride to two lakes. About 15 mins for each lake with a small hike in between. It was nice.

The day we went was overcast making for a beautiful day. The Many Glacier Hotel is build on the lake and has some amazing views. The water was calm on the day we went, We saw Moose standing in the water and some bears on the other side of the lake. There is a cruise you can take to Lake Josephine. We didn't take that but heard it was spectacular. Busy place, camp ground near by was full and before there is a Swiftcurrent hotel and store there too. You can kayak on the lake and get some pretty awesome views of Mt. Gould. I dont remember the names of other glaciers/mountains around. There are so many you can loose count.

We did the Glacier Boat Tour from Many Glacier Hotel, and we really enjoyed it. We saw a moose splashing in the water, and several groups of people who hiked just before we got there ran into bears on the trails (they handled it well, so no worries).

Family had a fabulous time kayaking around the lake. Smooth water, snow capped mountains and wildlife made the kayaking perfect. The view from the balcony of the lodge is breath taking!

If there was only one cruise you would do in this region, I would choose this with the Grinnell lake hike. Very well organized tour with helpful and informative rangers. It takes about 4 hrs for the entire trip. Don't forget to use the restrooms at the center before you leave!
