Owner description: Running Eagle Falls is a highlight of a trip to Two Medicine. In the spring water rushes over the upper fall so thick that the lower fall is completely hidden. Later in summer, as flows decrease, the water seems to change course and flow almost exclusively out of the lower fall. It's easy to see why this waterfall used to be named Trick Falls. This area holds great religious significance for local Blackfeet tribal members. The park is in the process of creating a nature trail here to highlight the cultural significance of this unique spot.

You need to see this in the being of the season as it is showning in this picture, in the fall the water comes out through the middle of the falls through a hole. It's so awesome...

We took numerous pictures along the flat easy path from the parking lot of Trick Falls (Running Eagles Falls) of the vegetation and the interesting trees. My husband climbed to take close-ups of the Falls, but I waited at a park bench with a wonderful peephole view of the falls and the towering mountains behind, putting it all into perspective! Well worth driving into Two Medicine Lake to see this!

This is a very short, flat trail to an interesting falls. Sometimes it spills from two places, and sometimes from a hole in the rock face halfway down. The area is/was sacred to the Blackfeet tribe.

This waterfall is wonderful! It's tall and has a lot of water coming down! And it's not a long hike - most people can get to this beauty quite easily!!!

This was our first hike and were delighted to see how easy it was and what a beautiful falls you see at the end. You can walk very close to them. No matter how short the hike, we always took our bear spray, you never know. And for sure your camera, great place for some pretty pictures.
