Very nice trail. The boardwalk is very nicely made and makes you go through the wilderness easily. We saw all the animals that were in the folders. The alligators were very close and the anhingas were nice to watch. We made some very nice pictures.

This was the first trail we did in the Everglades,it was amazing. The first bird I saw was in fact an anhinga, there were lots of them there. Also vultures, white ibises, storks, a number of different herons and white ibises and more. There were alligators too. This is a fairly short walk suitable for all ages and abilities.I would recommend this trail as not to be missed.

This side of the Everglades is like the hidden (and unspoiled) gem of South Florida.
We had visited a couple of places and then ended up at the Anhinga Trail. The boardwalk is well maintained and the wildlife is in abundance. We watched fish swim while birds fished for them and also saw alligators sunning themselves naturally.
Definitely worn the drive out to have a look.

Great access to wildlife viewing. Got to see a alligator eating a turtle. Nearby Gumbo Limbo trail is also a very good nature trail. If you have fat tire bicycles with you, do the nearby Old Ingraham Trail nearby for a great ride through a part of the Park very few visitors ever see. Look for Manatees and Crocodiles in the area around the marina at Flamingo.

This was a great trail to take with our 2 year old twins. It is very scenic with wildlife around all the corners and alligators right off the boardwalk. The scenery really caught me by surprise though. It was much more than I expected. Another plus of this trail is that it is not very far into the park or from Homestead so you can experience the Everglades a little as soon as you enter the park. It even hit ‘buy souvenir t-shirt’ level!
