These guys have gourmet coffee and cappuccino, but there is also a full menu with sandwiches and fresh baked pastries for your hike, burritos, pulled pork sandwiches, and lots more. Excellent provisions for breakfast and through the day.

“Great Coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014 via mobile

Had a breakfast scone, a Trail Mix and the best Cappuccino I've had this trip. It was so good we went back for a sandwich at lunchtime and it was excellent.

“Great Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

We found Black Bear Coffee House by chance for breakfast. We were just going to order something from their bakery when a breakfast plate came out of the kitchen. They had a scrambled eggs with scallions with toast, bacon was an add on. Compared to eating at the hotel it was about 1/3 the price and fresher. The coffee was good too.

After staying in the park for several days we stopped in again for lunch. They had brisket sandwiches with good sauce. Before we left we picked up a slice of the coconut bread and another treat with apples that were both enjoyed on our drive to Talkeetna.

It was nice to find a place with great food at an affordable price.

“Coffee and bathrooms ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

I was here with my family. It was raining and yucky out. Construction north of town had us behind schedule. The bathrooms were very welcome. Oh yeah. And the coffee was good too. And it's nice inside.

“It seemed like a haven in a world of commercialism”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014

Needed to access WiFi - the staff at the Denali NP Visitor Centre recommended this place. It was even better than expected - coffee/mocha was superb and food healthy. Visited a few times during our 3 days around the area and not just for the WiFi - the mocha kept luring me back plus the peacefulness of the venue.
