“Good restaurant choice”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

Granted there aren't many choices in Denali for dining but the Salmon Bake was enjoyable. I really enjoyed their chowder soup. Everyone at our table were happy with their food. They also have nightly entertainment. Price was a little higher than I expected but that comes with the limited number of places to eat. We also tried their "sister" restaurant that specialized in pizza. We had elk meat and reindeer sausage pizza which was wonderful.

“Good food, Good Price”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

They have a variety of things to choose from. I had the Portabella mushroom sandwich which came with fries. It was probably the cheapest meal I had in Alaska at $13.00. And the food was cooked well and came out promptly.

“Explorers dinner with Mia”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Really nice dinner after a long day of touring the park. Mia our waitress was one of the most efficient waitress I've witnessed in a long time. She checked on us often and ensured our dining experience was good. The halibut fish and chips was awesome!

“Expensive”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

$14 for a pedestrian hamburger. Just a tourist ripoff. You're pretty much a price prisoner in Denali (a loaf of bread at the "grocery" store is $7).

“Backwoods cuisine”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

The Salmon Bake is a quirky place down the road from Denali Depot. It looks a little ramshackle, but the food is very good and the spirit in the upstairs bar is lively. It's a fun place for lunch or dinner.
