This is a small cafe associated with Mckinley Creekside Cabins...the four rating is for size not quality. We ate here for suppers, breakfasts and box lunches. Suppers were excellent, fish was perfectly cooked, vegetables were california crisp and desserts were very difficult to resist. Breakfast was great...eggs cooked perfectly along with the potatoes. Only 2 1/2 slices of toast, but they were texas toast size. Blueberry pecan pancakes were fantastic and almost did not need any syrup. Box lunch cost less than the bigger places and tasted better than the bigger places....costs less because they don't use fancy packaging; just a plain plastic bag. They have 3 specials nightly and they were a great choice

My husband & I ate dinner here. It was so good we went back for breakfast too! For dinner, he had meatloaf & I had the pot pie. It was unreal! Best dinner we had in a long time. For breakfast, we shared a cinnamon roll, side of bacon & potatoes. Delicious! Servers were great & prices were fair. Great little place!

We were staying at the cabins across the road and came here for a late launch. The lunch special was salmon tacos, both my husband and I had them and they were very good. The waitress was very pleasant and also helped us order box lunches for our bus trip into the park the next day. They also had several Alaskan beers on tap. This is a great casual place for a meal with reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful dinner ... Nice menu, reasonable prices and and wine and beer selection. Better quality food than what I found in the shopping area ...

... through no fault of their own. There aren't that many eating options (at least on this end of the park) so you're liable to find a huge line before 10:30, and they'll serve you in the order you sit down, so expect a wait on your food even once you're seated. In other words, if you're trying to rush out for a tour, go early and/or get the grab-n-go breakfast. That said, the food is great! I particularly LOVED the strawberry-rhubarb coffee cake. Yum!
