“Very good restaurant”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

This place is next door to the Perch Resort. My wife loved the Cinnamon Bun for breakfast and we both loved the pork cutlets. I recommend it...

“Average food, small portion”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We stayed at the hotel so we ate there during the first day , lunch and dinner. After that we decided to give it a miss. Waiters are friendly. Food is average, portion is small. Their salmon is tasteless, worst salmon I had in Alaska. The bagpackers lunch we took to the park was quite good.

“lovely cabin and good scenery”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Well, it's a lovely and cozy place.
It is by the creek :D and has fire place at the river bank. Good scenery!
The cabins are pretty cute. Ours has 2 queen beds and a small table with coffee machine there. But no more other goodies.
The restroom is clean. The heater though, it's not very efficient though, which made us chilling there for quite a while. And it's really cold in Sep there.
We had dinner there, it's ok, no surprise. And they offer to-go breakfast, but it's silly of us that we had coffee to go the night before... and there's no microwave in cabin. When we ordered.. we didn't think of it... but guess they can find a way to improve on that...
We left early in the morning for shuttle, but I guess if i'm there next time, i'd love to stay there again, bc it's lovely inside and i'd hope for relax around the fireplace along the creek. :D

“Unique and cozy little restaurant”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

We stayed at the cabins here and dined several times. Loved the pork chili - a must try! Also, the baked goods are excellent and they will pack a lunch for you when heading out for your hikes! Really good, affordable food served by an excellent staff! Charming place.

“Great food, stopped twice here during our trip!”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

We had both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. Both were very good and the prices were average for this area. We had the same waiter both visits (Adam) and he was an awesome waiter. We were travelling in an RV, and there is easy parking for Rv's as well as passenger cars. One odd thing was that when my fiance asked where the restrooms were, he was directed out the front door and around back. At first I thought he had to go use an outhouse, but, NO, the restrooms were located around back. They were very nice and clean too. Very nice restaurant. Would definately recomment this restaurant.
