Description: The Perch offers you cozy, private cabins, hotel rooms and lodging near Denali National Park. Tucked into the woods and bordered by pristine Carlo Creek, our cabins offer you an Alaskan experience that is truly unique.Tree-top dining at the Perch Restaurant is a wonderful way to begin and end your day. The restaurant is “perched” atop a gravel moraine left by a glacier. Each of our 13 bay windows has a spectacular view of the Alaska range and it's many glaciers. Weather permitting, you can dine on our large deck, or just sit out in the sun and enjoy a cocktail while you wait for dinner.

My family stopped at The Perch for dinner after a day of exploring Denali. We were really hungry and tired and in need of some TLC! That's just what we received at The Perch. We enjoyed a lovely table, a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view, a nice crisp glass of Chardonnay, poached halibut for my husband, a yummy halibut sandwich and a fresh spring greens salad for me, delicious fettuccine for the kids, brownie a la mode for dessert. We couldn't have been more satisfied. Reasonably priced when compared to other restaurants in the area. Interesting conversation with the owner and a show from Barley topped off our evening. Don't miss this place, it's a winner.

We truly enjoyed our experience in this restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant and we found that out because the family that owns this restaurant is friendly. When my family visited Denali we spent our first few visits at another restaurant in the area that received better reviews unimpressed we followed a sign and walked up a large hill to find a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view, a clean and friendly staff, and great food. We were very pleased. Thank you to The Perch for making Denali a great experience. Oh, Kaladi Bros. coffee is great thanks for serving it (that was the first time I experienced that brand coffee, now I order it online). Pricing is also good for the area.

We stopped at this restaurant, The Perch, for no reason other than we were hungry..... And it turned out to be AMAZING!!! The food, service and views were incredible!! My boyfriend is from Alaska and was also blown away by the ambiance of the restaurant..The cost is definitely reasonable, casual dining cost but the taste of formal dining.. We had an incredible time while there!! The service was impeccable, the food was some of the best that we have had- and we travel A LOT!!! When we go back to Alaska, we will DEFINITELY visit "The Perch" again..
And again, I must say, IMPECCABLE service and AMAZING food!! You do NOT want to pass up "The Perch" restaurant if visiting Alaska!

We stayed two nights in a delux cabin. This meant we had our own toilet and shower - a must when there are millions of mosquitos.
We ate both evening meals at the Restaurant - excellent range, adequate portions and with reasonable priced drinks
Well worth a stay.

Our cabin was rustic but cute and great for outdoors folks. Could have used a working light to read in bed, but all else was great. Ate at the Perch one night and Panorama Pizza the other. My favorite was Panorama Pizza, for the dog doing tricks for us, and the outrageous pizza and salad, and Josh playing the bass in his band and having a blast singing away. Forget the glitzy motels etc up the road. If you have a friendly and casual attitude, this is the place.
