Great place to start your all day shuttle journey. Helpful staff and Rangers are available to assist with more detailed questions. The movie is worth seeing. It gives a good feel for the park "back in the day". Best of all there is no need to buy water if you have available containers just fill them right here with cold, clear, refreshing water. Food and snacks also available for sale if you forget to pre-pack lunch for a 6 to 8 to 12 hour day out in the Park. Clean bathrooms (and they flush) so be sure to make good use of them while at the WAC. Have a great day. We did...

This is where we got our tickets and bus to Eielson. The bathrooms were clean. They had a nice place to refill your water bottle. There was a movie to watch and great souvenir shop.

This is where you catch the buses to get beyond mile 15. There have a nice bookstore and coffee nook. It is a nice looking building and is key to getting to the backcountry.

A must to get the true information on the bus service on Park Road. Can be a bit frustrating because I had made plans, only to be dashed when I found out a bus tour was fully booked. Information is not at hotels.
