I cannot add much to the earlier reviews. Most reviews described the accommodations accurately. Next to the highway (some noise), half doors, long walkways, etc. Two beds, small bathroom. Was an enjoyable stay, and very nice to be away from Glitter Gulch and all that hoopla, but you can still take the hotel's free shuttle into town if desired.

I really enjoyed the cabins proximity to the Triple Lakes hiking trail into Denali. The trailhead is only 1/4 mile from the cabins, across the bridge on the highway.

My spouse and I stayed at DRC for two nights in August 2010. The room was simple -- two beds, a table, a couple of folding chairs, and a sink outside the small bathroom (a pocket door separated the toilet and stall shower from the rest of the room). Room lighting was marginal. Nothing remarkable and nothing inconvenient except the "remote" location of the sink.

The DRC facility has a coin-operated washing machine and dryer in a separate building. A little rough but completely adequate. The continental breakfast was adequate. All in all, the DRC was adequate as a resting place during our brief visit to the Denali area.

A place where cuteness gets mixed up with satisfaction. It looks great: cabins with half-doors, some by a river. That's the good part. The rooms are cabins - each separate (keeps away noise from the next room), but joined by common walkways.

They are cabins, with a shower, sink, beds, table and folding chairs. I could see daylight through the wall where the ridgepost was - just like many a cabin. The shampoo comes in little packets that are the devil to open in the shower with wet, soapy hands. The water was hot, but the hot/cold labels on the shower control were reversed. Light bulbs were burned out upon our arrival and not replaced during our stay. The box spring on our bed was ripped open at one edge. The rug was black, so hard to say how filthy it was. There were propane heaters - no doubt a step up from the (abandoned?) electric baseboard - and they worked (if you could read detailed instructions only in English).

The company's fleet of buses was washed each night outside our cabin, with noise from the pressure washer engine. The cabin shook when people walked on the walkway. There's an elevated bridge nearby and when trucks would pass over its ribbed roadway, the washboard sound went straight into our cabin. We were awakened the first morning by a wake-up call, but we had not requested one. It must be that they are not cleared after each party departs. Beware!

The advertising claimed wi-fi throughout, as did the staff. It was barely there in our cabin; however, the only place I got decent connectivity was in the reception building. I would have liked to know this right off.

Breakfast was included, but don't expect much. It was the same each morning.

If you are searching for a quiet and lonely place in the wilderness of Alaska forget this place.
Location is terrible because is in a corner of the highway and at night you could hear every car and truck. Probably in the cottages on the river is a little better. Room are clean and big but you can hear the people talking on the stairs. Service is ok and people are kid.
Internet connection is weak.

This is a nice place to stay if you do not want to be in Healy. It is much quieter here and the views of the river along with the trail the property has along the river were neat. However, the only thing is when you are here, you are here, and unlike staying Healy you have less of a choice of places to eat unless you want to drive there. The hotel and grounds were clean. There is a restaurant on-site that is pricey and has a limited menu. The service was slow but the food I had was good. Ditto goes for the coffee shop. Again, you can go up the road and eat, but after being in the park most of the day at least there is something here if you want. Room prices are a little on the pricey side but most hotels in the Denali area are.
