Great tour. We were fortunate to see McKinley with no clouds. A rare sighting. A well run tour, definitely would recommend. guides give info on area. Many hikers were sighted.

Best tundra tour EVERRRRR!!!! By far one of the best things we have ever done. James and his crew went above and beyond to make sure our tour was the best! They provided subway lunches and were very knowledgeable about any questions we had. The best part was floating through the water and going through the mud. The compound itself was breathtaking and we were even more impressed that we were able to see Denali on the way back from the tour. Driving the Argo was like driving your own personal mini tank. We will be going again and will be telling everyone else about our AMAZING adventure and how Denali Tundra Tour is the best ting since sliced bread!!!! Thank you James and your amazing crew!!!!!

We had a group of 6 people, age 12, 18, 19, 20 and the parents. Everyone had fun especially the youngest! for some people was the highlight of the trip. Great offroading, not so great sightseeing. We didnt see very much wildlife. They did provide a subway lunch which was nice, the conveinence was nice.
Even though the Argos only move about 10-15 mph through the trails, it feels a lot faster than that!
I would definately do this trip again. My family fell in love with Alaska and even though this isnt the best way to sightsee (neither is the ATV trip or the JEEP tours; they all share the same trail), it was definately an experince i would do over!

This is strictly for the experience of riding an ATV through the wilderness. There is virtually no sightseeing, animal experience, etc. It is fun, as you bounce along, splash through puddles and streams, and extricate yourself from the mud.

Maybe a bit pricey for what you get.

The Subway lunch is in a pavilion at the end of the trip, I could do without it.

Unfortunately, the day we did this, it was in the 90's (yes, in AK) plus mosquitoes. I would recommend shorts and lots of deet. The Argo' engine puts off lots of heat.
