“Fish and chips were pretty good but very overpriced.”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

I'm a New Zealander and whilst I don't frequently indulge on fish and chips, I know the good spots!

These guys had fairly good fish and chips but for $20(US) I would have expected a bigger piece of fish. Five pieces slightly larger than (dare I say it) McDonalds chicken nuggets and a small portion of average fries were a bit of a disappointment. Their saving grace was the Halibut was amazing. Extremely fresh and cooked well. My sister reports their burger was great.

“Good Lunch”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We stopped by this place for lunch. We tried their cheeseburger & Cuban sandwich. Both was very delicious. Be sure to try their tomato soup. It was creamy & flavorful. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in Denali.

“Very Tasty”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

I think I liked this restaurant better than the other reviewers. The salad bar was surprisingly fresh. It kind of reminded me of the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays, but somewhat smaller. We had the salad, fried cod, chicken fingers, and sweet potato fries. Everything was piping hot straight out of the fryer. It was almost too hot to eat. Delicious. The guy behind the counter was really friendly.

I noticed another reviewer mentioned the prices. They do seem high, but compared to the other food options in the area ($9 for a pint of ice cream at the grocery store), we thought they were pretty standard.

“Can't beat NZ fish & chips”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

Not many people were there eating. We decided to give it a go.
The place is clean, they have a salad buffet which you can share with anyone otherwise they would charge even tough this not an "all you can eat buffet".
Concept fish salad was good instead of chips but the average price was $15, we found it expensive for this type of place. The fish and crust were overlooked which ruined the experience.
However the new guy at the cash was genuine and nice!
