“Aptly Named”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

The most beautiful thing we saw in our day trip to Death Valley. Amazing colors in hills that look like piles of paint left by an artist.

“Colorful”

With the colorful nature rock like the artists palette make you breathtaking. It is better to visit this place under the sun and more beautiful in the early morning and at sunset.

“Must see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

Not far from Furnace Creek lies Artists drive which is a one way road. Beautiful mountain views and you arrive at Artists Palette. This is a great place to get out and walk around. The colors are magnificent. Red, brown and even purple rocks. We enjoyed the hiking here. We did not even explore it to the fullest, but this is a beautiful place that you won't want to miss. It does require climbing up and down short steep gravel/rocks in order to explore, but if you don't want to do that, it is still worth seeing from the parking lot.

The most colorful in artist drive. Liked the way the roads went up and down....it was like being on a mini roller coaster
