“Small but worth some minutes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

This is not a big attraction, but it takes you 10 minutes for the short drive, and it is worth to get one more additional and stunning view on the salt desert.
This means you just drive 3 minutes, get out of the car and enjoy. No walking.

“Different”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013

The Devil's Golf course was along the same road to Badwater, Artist's Palette and Golden Canyon, so easy to make a quick stop. There is no restroom or other facilities there, and the road there is a well made dirt one. The landscape looks like something that belongs in a different world, unique and interesting to see for a few minutes but not more.

“Crazy weird, but so beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

You can't drive strait to Devil's Golf Course. You drive down a road that dead ends and then you have to walk for a bit. (I don't know how far, but it isn't too bad and under a mile.) Still bring your water. The formations of rock and salt are so amazing and weird. You need to be very careful they are very sharp and hard to walk on. Easy to twist and ankle and don't attempt in flip flops. One of my favorite spots for photos.

“definitely worth stopping for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2013

I t doesn't take long off the highway...you usually can see other cars from the road going down the dirt offshoot...and SO interesting! the formations, and the architectural photos you will get from up close are worth the diversion.

“Bizzare Landscape”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

A about a 5 mile rather bumpy gravel road will get you to Devil's Golf Course which is a strange landscape that adds to the diversity of Death Valley. Worth a trip out there, but not suitable for hiking. Caution is advised in even expoloring the rocky formations since a slip or fall could result in some nasty bruises. Take your camera and head out before noon since the light will be behind you.
