Owner description: A short hike with geological viewpoints and photo opportunities.

It is rare to have such an outstanding overlook with such a short walk from the parking lot. If you are afraid of heights you will be a little nervous because of the drop-off. You can get some beautiful shots of the Fremont River winding through Capitol Reef. A must see!

Good view of the river below, hike just a view hundred meters. Kids hoped to see a flash flood but didn't see one!

We walked this short trail at 7AM, and had a lot of nice views along the way, and especially at the end. Along the trail were twisted junipers trees and blooming cactus.

This is a perfect short hike to to a viewpoint looking west. Take it at dusk and hope you get spectacular skies for an awesome sunset.

A great place to stretch your legs and see a great view of the valley and canyons. Short drive off the highway with a very short walk. All of southern Utah is spectacular with the red rocks, canyons, and rock formations.
