“Great view”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

We live just a few miles from the Goosenecks and always take visitors to see them. Capitol Reef National Park is a great place.

“One of the best accessible canyon views in the park”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

This overlook is relatively easy to get to and provides one of the better canyon overlooks in the park. If your vehicle can't make it to Strike Valley Overlook (like mine), the next best alternative is probably Goosenecks. This is a good first stop if you're entering the park from the west on Hwy 24.

“Geologic Overlook”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

A great place to see the workings of water on rock. It is unusual to be able to view such an expanse of river and it twists. It is a spectacular spot, make sure you walk all the way to the end of the trail.

“Viewing down the steep canyon walls to the Goosenecks, fabulous.”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

It was very impressive looking into this deep canyon and visioning the vast ages it took to accomplish this erosion and spectacular canyon.
