“Go see this arch!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This is an easy hike and one of the better arches to go see.

Be sure to look for Washer Woman Arch in the distance. It's easy to overlook.

Highly recommended.

“A journey to the end of the World”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

Made a bee-line to get to this famous arch. Got up at 6.30, entered park at 7.30 (to beat the crowds, and beat the exceptional Utah sunshine. Walked the trail, easy and well indicated. Only to find a tag-along party haing photos shot, a guided tourguide speech, and 94 degrees of heat. Fortunately group rushed to next port of call, but heat stayed with us. Climbed up a ramp of rocks to peer into archway. Stunned to realise that one more step forward would result in a 1,000 foot fall, vertically to the canyon floor. Breathtaking views and stunning valley vistas towards the La Sal mountain range.
A must do again experience. An Island in the Sky experience never to be forgotten, by your heart or your head!

Love love love this arch in Canyonlands! Easy hike, breathtaking view of the canyons! Hike is just 10 minutes, very easy! Sunset is the best time to go here especially if you're a photographer. Must see place in Canyonlands!

“Easy walk for a rewarding view”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

As another reviewer said, the scenery surrounding the art is actually more impressive than the arch itself. Don't expect it to be a giant standalone arch, it's more a part of the canyon itself. But the iconic view through the center to the bottom of the canyon is incredible! Keep an eye out for the pretty flowers.
