“Very disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

We were in Bryce 'City' for 2 nights and the first night the food was just about tolerable, but the 2nd was poor. This is the only restaurant in Bryce 'City' (if you don't want the cowboy show at Ebenezer's) and seems to cater only for coach parties that have pre-paid meal vouchers for the buffet. I'm not a fan of buffet food at the best of times, but the whole dining area gave me flashbacks to school dinners. The 'al-a-carte' fare consisting of typical burgers, fries etc wasn't much better, but at least I didn't feel overcharged for food I didn't really want to eat. We'd been in Torrey for Capitol Reef NP prior to this and had fantastic food for such a small town. It's a shame that Ruby's feels its monopoly on Bryce justifies making so little effort with food. My advice, get a room with a microwave and buy a microwave meal.

“Good Food, Poor Service.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013

Two of my meals were eaten here because of convenience. Tonight’s choice, bacon-wrapped pork was prepared to my satisfaction. I enjoyed the meal but never saw my server. She took my order, brought the meal and disappeared until it was time to bring my check. The room was not even 25% filled. The same situation happened the previous evening with a different server in a more crowded restaurant. Usually not a concern unless you are waiting for something as I was.

“Overpriced bland food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Run of the mill food offerings: beef and chicken over cooked. Limited selection of salads, desserts. Items not replenished frequently. Tables on top of each other. Loud.

“Fast paced dining room”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Many choices of healthy meals on the menu, if you look carefully. They also offer a buffet and salad bar. As this is the only dinner dining option in Bryce city in October, give it a try..and tip the hard working wait persons well.
