I was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled in to Bryce Canyon Lodge-. The menu was interesting, and varied with local and regional dishes being offered. I ordered one of the specials of the day which happened to be a walleye fish lightly encrusted in panko served on top of bacon and onion risotto in a bed of sauteed spinach with a lobster bisque sauce served with baby scallops. This dish was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The meal was served with a delicious warm crusty sour dough bread. For dessert I tried another special a slice of pumpkin cheese cake served over chocolate sauce with cranberries. This too was delicious. Reservations are not taken but we lucked out by arriving at 5:45 and had no wait. Our waitress was excellent but kudos go out to the to the chef !!!
